Dogs

Disclaimer: I'm allergic to dogs, and so have no experience with them!

With that said, many folks have been considering the addition of a dog for security purposes. Here is a comment from one viewer:

German Shepherds (preferably white) or Akita or other breeds of double coated dogs that can handle extreme cold and have an aggressive guarding disposition is recommended.
