Christian: There is conflicting information about whether brix values are useful. Values can fluctuate throughout the day, so consistent timing in testing is necessary to make comparisons. Some people, however, swear that this is a great way to evaluate the health and nutritional density of crops.

To that end, here are some values suggested as guidelines:
