Some of the measures farmers are taking to stave off the effects of the GSM include:
- Lighting MANY fires in orchards to keep the ambient temperatures up [1][2]

- Buying thousands of plastic bottles to protect EACH seed [3]
- Snowtill: tilling the snow to decrease albedo, so that sun can more effectively melt the snow, so we can start planting! [4]
