The Dakota Fire pit is one of the first specially constructed fires I learned how to build. It features:
- High-efficiency, particularly for cooking
- Low smoke (helps with visual signature, if trying to lay low)
- Incredibly easy to put out, and leaves little signature/evidence behind (again, helpful if trying to lay low, while on the move)
