Highly recommend. Casey's latest work, including other researchers, speaks specifically to the seismic effects that the extended solar minimum produces, both historically, and actively now.

Rawles, James Wesley: How to Survive the End of the World as We Know It

Reading now. Was widely reviewed well, and I hope the man has as much pride in this work as his fiction. Patriots is absolutely worth reading.

In fact, I'm including this. It's basically survival book in fiction format. Total page turner, and also informative as to how an EMP/CME might play out.

Emery, Carla: The Encyclopedia of Country Living

This basically spans all categories: growing, preserving/storing, animals. Great reference.

Spirulina

Baum, Dr. Aaron Wolf: Grow Your Own Spirulina Superfood: a simple how-to guide

Short, consise, to the point. Based on his decades of phycological experience. This is standing on shoulders of giants.

Gardening

Warnock, Caleb: The Forgotten Skills of Self-Sufficiency used by the Mormon Pioneers

Decent, a little bit weak sauce. I enjoyed the historical sidebars, accounts of folks who struggled to make it and did, generally. Often simply references other books (although, largely ones that I've read and would suggest are required reading: Jeavens, Seed-to-Seed, etc). Not at the top of my list.
